Money in your HSA can be used to pay for a variety of health related expenses for you, your spouse and your dependents. You own the account, you decide when to use the funds and if you change jobs the money stays with you. Contributions are deductible on federal taxes, the interest and other earnings and distributions to pay or reimburse qualified medical expenses are tax free.*
